This lovely lapel pin is in the “Coronation” pattern by Oneida Community which was introduced in 1936. It was made for Kind Edward the 8th Coronation. The Community plate company was then allowed to reproduce it for the public. This is the handle of a hollow butter knife. You can change the flowers according to season, a fresh flower bud in the spring to adorn your blazer or denim jacket or for the lapel of a tuxedo at a wedding. This lapel pin will come with some kind of silk flowers in it depending on the season, not necessarily what you see in the picture.
